How does music-to-dance AI work?

mvntSTUDIO analyzes a track’s rhythm, tempo, and structure, along with accents and energy changes, then generates movement that follows those musical signals.

Do I need to install anything?

No. mvntSTUDIO runs in your browser, so there is nothing to install.

What improved in the latest model update?

The latest model improves motion detail, beat response, and hand movement for J-pop and kawaii-style dance. We are improving additional genres individually rather than relying on one general model for every style.

What dance styles work best right now?

Clean pop, J-pop, K-pop, EDM, hip-hop, R&B, Latin, and TikTok-style tracks with readable beats and sections usually work best. Quality still varies by genre, which is why we are training and improving styles one at a time; K-pop and hip-hop are next priorities.

Can I generate a full-length dance?

Not yet. Current generation works best with shorter sections such as a hook, chorus, verse, or eight-bar phrase. Full-length dance generation is planned, but no release date has been announced.

Dance templates are in beta. Choose a style or structure, add your music, and use the result as your starting point.

Is formation dance available?

Formation dance is experimental and supports some scenes with up to three dancers. It works only partially and is still being improved, so results may be incomplete or inconsistent.

Is there a mobile app?

A mobile app is planned, but no release date has been announced. You can use the current browser experience on a mobile device.

How do I join the beta or give feedback?

You can record videos and export GLB files from mvntSTUDIO. FBX and BVH exports are planned but are not currently available.

Can I use MVNT with Suno, Tripo, Kling, Higgsfield, or Seedance?

Yes. You can bring music from Suno into mvntSTUDIO, use Tripo-generated 3D characters, and use video tools such as Kling, Higgsfield, or Seedance later in your workflow.

Does mvntSTUDIO work with ComfyUI?

The ComfyUI integration is available with limitations. Changes to ComfyUI policies require a major update, so some existing workflows may not work reliably.

When do I receive credits?

Every plan includes a monthly motion allowance. Basic, Creator, and Studio also receive included plan credits on their billing date. Reward Credits and purchased credits are tracked separately.

How are credits used?

Your monthly motion allowance is used first. After it is used, motion generation draws from Reward Credits, then included plan credits, then purchased credits.

Do unused balances roll over?

The monthly motion allowance resets each month and does not roll over. Included plan credits reset on your billing date. Reward Credits and purchased credits do not expire.

Can I use purchased credits for 3D characters or video generation on Free?

Purchased credits can fund Motion, 3D character, and video generation on Free when the balance covers the full job cost.

When do plan changes take effect?

Upgrades normally apply immediately. Downgrades and cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period. Some plan changes may be scheduled for your next billing date.

What happens if a payment fails?

Access to paid features may be limited until you update your payment method. Check your billing details in your account settings.

What are the Free plan limitations?

Free includes a monthly motion allowance, up to 10 saved dances, and 1 concurrent job. Reward Credits or purchased credits can fund 3D character and video generation.

What happens to my balance during generation?

Before a job starts, we temporarily reserve the credits it may use. If the job succeeds, we charge them; if it fails, we release them. The preview shows the expected cost before you start.

Is mvntSTUDIO replacing human choreographers?

No. mvntSTUDIO can help create early drafts, but human choreographers provide the taste, storytelling, rehearsal direction, and performance judgment needed for finished work.

Can I use generated dance commercially?

Subject to the MVNT Terms of Service, you may use eligible outputs from mvntSTUDIO in personal and commercial projects. You must have the necessary rights to any music, images, characters, choreography references, or other materials you upload.
